Although born in Louisiana, Dion spent most of his early life in Nebraska. He moved back to the South in his early teens and later studied guitar while attending Louisiana Tech University. After majoring in journalism and theater, Dion went on to become a professional Shakespearean actor, stage combatant and member of The Society of American Fight Directors. Having also an extensive background in martial arts and once ranked third in the nation and fifth in the world by the U.S.K.A. ,as an international competitor of Tae Kwon Do, Dion was able to combine his acting and martial art skills as an extra in such films as "Under Siege" and "Creation of Destiny".
When Dion finally settled in Arlington, Texas, he began playing two-man acoustical sets in Dallas/Fort Worth with local guitarist and friend, John Conelly. After enjoying musical success, Dion and Amil McAnelly formed what would become Six For Twelve.
Currently, aside from being the front man and chief songwriter for Six For Twelve, Dion lends his additional talents as an accomplished graphic artist and web site designer/developer to his own web development company, BGB Consulting.
